About Rosa
Transitioning from ensemble performance to full-time teaching defines my career path. I currently hold a Master of Music in Violin Performance from The Juilliard School.
My piano instruction focuses on 309 students I have coached over 5 years. I enjoy seeing students master complex chord voicing and music theory. The process of watching a child develop memorization techniques remains quite rewarding.

True fluency in music does not always require reading every single note on the page before playing. By focusing on chord voicing and pop and contemporary styles, I help students internalize the structure of their music. My background at The Juilliard School informs how I approach sight reading and sight playing with my 7 year old pupils. If a student chooses a specific track, I create custom sheet music arrangements for songs students choose to keep them engaged.
We work through rhythm and timing alongside ABRSM or Trinity grade exam prep to ensure a balanced skill set. Even when tackling difficult accompaniment skills, I keep the session flow natural and light. I rely on my 5 years of experience to adapt quickly to different learning speeds. You will find that my method emphasizes a clear path toward musical independence.
I provide a structured environment where specific technical challenges are addressed with patience. Let us see how your student handles the keys during a first session.
