About Bevan
Hello! I'm Bevan, a dedicated music educator and professional performer with a Bachelor of Music in Voice from the University of Western Ontario. I teach piano, voice, and musical theatre to children, teens, and adults, from beginners to advanced students. My lessons combine Music Moves for Piano, Edwin Gordon's Music Learning Theory, and practical performance experience to create engaging, individualized instruction. Whatever your drive for music is, I will help you build strong skills that will allow your unique sound to flourish.

My teaching combines Music Moves for Piano, Edwin Gordon's Music Learning Theory, ear training, rhythm, technique, creativity, and repertoire mastery to help people become confident, independent musicians. Lessons are tailored to each student's age, experience, interests, and goals, with a typical lesson balancing skill-building musical understanding, and time spent making music they genuinely enjoy.
What sets me apart is my experience as both a music teacher and performing artist. After earning a Bachelor of Music in Voice from the University of Western Ontario, I continued performing throughout Canada on stage and on screen. I bring a practical performer's perspective to lessons while creating a supportive, encouraging environment where students can take risks, build confidence, and discover their own musical voice.
My goal is to draw music out of the student rather than force-feed it to them.
