About Charolisa
Classical repertoire and orchestral playing techniques formed the bedrock of my early training. I remember the specific scrape of rosin on bow hair during long practice sessions in my youth. These foundations eventually led me to 9 years of teaching students how to produce a pure tone and improve left-hand agility. I have guided hundreds of players through the intricacies of sight reading.
My approach is patient and focused on the groove. Sometimes less is more. I offer a free trial lesson to gauge your starting level. I look forward to seeing your progress.

We focus on tone production as much as the notes on the page. My sessions incorporate the nuances of traditional fiddling into your classical studies. You will find that these skills translate across many genres.
