About Donovani
"Dust on my guitar case tells the story of 13 years spent gigging across the American South. Music is a conversation. I hold a BM in Popular Music from the University of Southern California to ground my intuitive style in formal theory. My 13 years of experience allow me to break down complex ideas for hobbyists, advanced learners, and adults.
Whether you want to master fingerpicking or electric technique, I provide the roadmap. Your musical vision is closer than you think."

"A typical guitar session feels like a back porch jam session where the focus remains on the joy of the instrument. Learning happens through doing. We navigate through power chords, scales, modes, and blues progressions while keeping a firm grip on the mechanics of strumming.
Since earning my degree from the University of Southern California, I have helped many adults refine their craft. The lessons incorporate ear training and lead guitar work to ensure you understand the why behind the notes. We will prepare for any grade exams you choose while keeping the spirit of the song alive. You will leave every session feeling more connected to your instrument than when you arrived."
