About Gloria
You deserve an instructor who makes the piano feel accessible rather than intimidating. Over 13 years, I have helped 481 students find their voice through the keys. My training is voice-primary with piano as a second study, which helps me teach pianists to phrase like vocalists. I specialize in working with hobbyists, absolute beginners, and adults who want to play popular music.

Technique is often a chore, so I focus on posture and hand position through movements that feel natural instead of rigid. I actually find that beginners often struggle more with tension than they do with reading the notes themselves. Because I have 13 years of experience, I provide free access to my annotated practice notes after every lesson to keep your momentum going between our meetings.
We will work on sight transposition and contemporary styles while ensuring you understand how to shape a musical phrase. You will notice how sight playing becomes much easier once we prioritize expression over perfectionism during your practice time.
