About Lydia
I believe teaching and adapting teaching styles depending on student's needs/wants requires patience, intelligence and experience which are skills I possess and use. Not a long time has passed since my completion and success of the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme so I am well aware of what is important for students to focus on when studying a certain topic in a certain subject in order to score the highest, saving a lot of their precious time from insignificant material. I am also aware of the stress that comes with each year of school and will organise their school work and responsibilities in a way that assures nothing is completed imperfectly while minimising anxiety about deadlines and grades. Trust me, and you will score the highest mark!

My lessons are from students beginning in primary school and ending in year 10 students. I have tutored students of multiple ages again this summer (2023) following my completion of the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme. Each student requires a different approach to teaching. However, these are the general steps I plan on taking through my lessons: 1. Begin by asking my student if they have a question from the top of their head about the material covered in class - answer questions if any; 2. Begin to go over my student's assigned schoolwork, and whenever a question or misunderstanding pops up, cover the material involved in that question more in depth; 3. After completing the work and ensuring no other gaps are left aside, ask my student if there is anything else they would like to go over. 4. If there is extra time left in the lesson and the student is not tired/wants to stop for the day, move further into new material so the student can have a head start from other classmates. a
