I have taught Polish since 2020. I have experience teaching kids in supplementary school, preparing a student for GCSEs, one-on-one conversational sessions and others.

About the lesson

I believe that we should mimic children in their language learning - to not be afraid of speaking before knowing all the rules, to get familiar with all the sounds and slowly build up the knowledge and recycle it - so that we don't just end up focusing on theory and lack confidence in carrying out a simple conversation.

Most of us were taught to drill pages of new vocabulary, focus on one textbook, hardly ever practise speaking...I believe it's not efficient, but most importantly - different students have different reasons to learn a language and it shouldn't be one-size-fits-all.
I would love to hear the reasons why you have chosen to learn a new language, what are your goals and how will you use your new skills so that you can progress and learn with ease :)

Perfect! I had few Polish lessons with Iza, she has been always very motivating, patient and willing to help with Polish which is a difficult language to learn. I highly recommend her as a Polish language teacher, she has good materials to study and practice the language and always enthusiastic to teach. I hope to continue my lessons with her in the near future, dziękuję bardzo!
