About Martha
I'm a professional political communicator based in Manchester, and I've build a career in media relations, campaigns and public affairs. As a freelancer, I support charities, tech companies, and arts organisations to make an impact, helping with everything from parliamentary engagement to developing policy recommendations and drafting speeches. When I'm not working with clients, I can be found writing my first novel, and volunteering on local arts projects.
I have excellent academic credentials: 9 GCSEs A*-B (City of London School for Girls); AS Level Critical Thinking (A); A Levels in English Lit (A), History (A), and Government and Politics (B); and a Bachelor's degree in War Studies from King's College, London (2.1).
I've worked in Parliament, UK government departments, and political consultancy, demonstrating a highly professional attitude to work, and a wealth of knowledge to share.
