About JAMES
As a former grammar school student I remember the long hours spent studying for the 11+ and have no doubt that had I not had the help of my tutor I would have likely struggled to pass, if at all, as such I wish to enable more children to have that opportunity to pass and go on to further successes. Having experience instructing young people through youth groups I know just how rewarding it can be to watch young learners grow and progress, achieving their goals.

Having personal experience with the 11+, lessons will work on the techniques necessary to deal with the exam which are often beyond the scope of standard school lessons, this will ensure that your child will be set up to succeed in their 11+ as well as their year 6 SATs. While I would aim to take on each style of question one at a time to ensure a good understanding of each type of question this can be sped up and condensed to match the needs of the learner and potential proximity of their exams. Lessons can last between 1 to 2 hours at a time however multiple lessons can be booked on the same day if a more intensive schedule is required. I am experienced with working with children of 11+ age having worked as a volunteer for a youth group for over 5 years now as well as being a qualified RYA dinghy instructor.
