About Afif
Hi, I am Afif Hasan, a first-year undergraduate at the University of Warwick. Teaching was originally part of my internship at my local school but soon, I started enjoying it, evidenced by the fact that I continued with this as my jobs up until I entered university. This is mainly because, as I continued teaching, I found that it allowed me to connect with people/students with similar interests, while it kept upgrading a range of skill sets such as being patient, professional and a public speaker. I want to enter this profession again, primarily because I miss the feeling of tutoring but also as it is my most experienced field. As for Business Studies specifically, I find that a lot of people, particularly in AS, struggle with the subject so I want to help overcome their obstacles.

Business Studies (9609) Tutor for Cambridge A Levels (AS&A2) My approach is exclusively student-centric. I conduct an overview & explanation class of the chapter at hand, which is followed by Q&A sessions and topic practice, which serves as a review for the student and feedback for myself in terms of what I have to adjust for the following chapters. I am big on mocks, both unit-based and full syllabus ones. I have over a year of experience as a teaching assistant in this subject with a majority of students scoring A or above. Furthermore, I have been an IELTS tutor in the past, with my students having an average band score of 8. My class timings are flexible and durations can range from 45 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the student's schedule, but must combine for a total weekly time of 6-8 hours (or more if required).
