Lessons generally are structured based on specific material which I like to cover each week. All of my coursework builds on past lessons and always include short reviews of what was covered last week. I find that this process of information layering helps place the student in the best place for attaining fluency along with a strong and robust understanding of the written language and grammar. I always will ask for input of the student and will work to adapt to any specific focuses that they may request at any point in time during the lesson.
I come from a native Spanish and French background from my parents who immigrated to the U.S. I further refined my skills at Case Western Reserve University where I specialized in foreign language studies with special focus on French and Italian. During my time there I worked with beginner and intermediate students and began tutoring and teaching on my own shortly after graduation. I also received degrees in music with particular focus in pipe organ and piano performance.
If students are interested in signing up for multiple lessons (package of 10) my hourly rate is discounted. Please contact for more details.
I have offered budget lessons in the past for students wishing to do lessons via phone, these lessons are also available at a lower price from the original rate.
Note: Given the amount of students I currently teach weekly, I now ask for a 48 hour notice if the lessons are to be cancelled. If lesson is cancelled with less than 48 hour notice there will not be a refund offered.
