About Alexander
Hi! I’m a friendly and approachable Spanish tutor passionate about helping students feel more confident and comfortable with the language. With 2 years of tutoring experience with primary and secondary school pupils, alongside 3 years of experience working with children, I aim to create a supportive and enjoyable environment where students feel comfortable learning and making mistakes.
I believe Spanish is best learnt in a way that is engaging, interactive, and personalised, rather than simply memorising endless vocabulary and grammar rules. I take the time to understand each student and their goals, then build lessons around what will help them progress most effectively, incorporating their own personal interests as much as possible.
Whether you’re starting Spanish from scratch, working towards your GCSEs, or simply want to improve your confidence, I’m here to make learning Spanish enjoyable, approachable, and rewarding. My goal is not only to help students improve academically, but also to help them develop a genuine confidence and pass on my enthusiasm for language learning.

Interactive, personalised Spanish lessons for GCSE students and below!
I offer engaging 1 or 2-hour lessons, either in person or online, tailored to each student’s individual level, goals, and learning style. Whether you’re looking to build confidence in Spanish, improve your grades, or strengthen specific areas of the language, we’ll work together to create a plan that suits you.
Each student receives a personalised learning roadmap, helping us cover the topics you want to focus on while tracking your progress along the way. Lessons can include grammar, vocabulary, speaking, reading, writing, pronunciation, and exam preparation.
Your first session is completely free and includes a short Spanish proficiency test to establish your baseline level. This allows me to understand your strengths and areas for improvement, so future lessons can be as effective and personalised as possible.
