About Heather
I graduated from the Academy of Contemporary Music in 2018 with a BA(Hons) in Creative Artistry and Songwriting. I am classical trained in Singing (ABRSM Grade 8 Distinction), Piano (ABRSM Grade 7 Distinction),Flute (ABRSM Grade 6 Distinction), Music Theory (ABRSM Grade 5 Distinction) and self taught guitar. I completed a Teaching and Education Module while at University and have been teaching family friends for a few months now.

I create personally tailored lessons for each student, as everyone is different! If you wanted to focus on singing pop songs, we would start with the basic technique to enable to you to do this, and if you wanted to learn how to write songs, I would guide you through all the different ways to get inspiration, different methods of writing, writing techniques, lyrical devices etc. Each student gets a notebook in which I write down what we do in the lessons, any tips, music to listen to, things to read or research etc, so we make the most of our time together.

If you wish to cancel a lesson up until the day before, you will not be charged. If you cancel the day of, you will get charged half of the rate (£15).
