About Isabella
I am a qualified and experienced private Portuguese teacher. I have been teaching Portuguese for 20 years. I offer private online Portuguese language lessons.I have provided Portuguese lessons for a wide range of companies and schools. I worked as a Portuguese teacher privately and for several language schools, having experience with one-to-one and group lessons; beginners, intermediate, advanced and proficiency levels, present tuition and online tuition via Skype; teaching children from the age of 2; MYP and Diploma curriculum (International Baccalaureate); general training and Portuguese for business purposes.
My qualifications:
I have a degree in Portuguese Language and Literature. Main topics studied include Latin and Portuguese language, linguistic studies, Brazilian and Portuguese Literature, Educational Policies, Sign Language and Literature for children and adolescents. I also have a degree in History. Main topics studied include Brazilian history, history of the Americas, modern and contemporary history and educational psychology.

I can help you to improve your grammar, speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, listening, reading and writing for general, academic and business Portuguese.
If you would like to meet for a free consultation, I will assess your language skills and design lessons to suit your specific needs. I will also give you homework and other useful learning materials.
I am available for lessons during the day and in the evening, including weekends.
If you want to improve your pronunciation and speaking, I will provide you with helpful material and introduce useful techniques to make you an excellent speaker.
If you need help with your Academic Writing, I will support you with necessary structures, expressions and layout.
I also offer General Portuguese lessons (Beginner-Advanced) with FREE Portuguese lesson material, grammar and vocabulary practice & homework correction.
I can give you lessons for a range of different purposes:
• Everyday Portuguese - improve your knowledge of phrasal verbs, collocations and idioms. Get more fluent and confident in conversation. Focusing on the spoken language, you will be able to improve your communication with native Portuguese speakers by learning through practice.
• Pronunciation - manage phone calls and conversations with improved pronunciation. We will look at key issues such as intonation, stress and vowel length. Pronunciation is not only about speaking but also about listening.
Times
I teach in the morning, afternoon and evening, on week and weekend days, depending on availability.
My schedule is completely flexible.
Lessons can be scheduled regularly or changed based on your timetable.
