About Lia

I am a Portuguese teacher for foreigners and I am in my final semester of a degree in Languages. I have a great interest in language teaching and believe that learning a new language is a way to create connections, learn about cultures, and expand opportunities. My motivation as a teacher is to help each student develop the confidence to communicate in Portuguese naturally and efficiently. I strive to make learning a pleasant experience, respecting the pace, difficulties, and individual goals of each student. In addition to Portuguese, I have knowledge of English, Spanish, French, and Italian, which facilitates communication with students of different nationalities, especially those who are beginning their language journey. I am a dedicated, patient teacher committed to the progress of my students. I always seek to improve my knowledge and use different resources to offer organized, dynamic classes adapted to the needs of each person.

About the lesson

My Portuguese for Foreigners classes are completely personalized and planned according to each student's goals, level, and learning pace. I cater to beginners who have never had contact with the language, as well as advanced students who wish to improve their fluency, pronunciation, grammar, or professional communication. I use a communicative approach, combining conversation, grammar in context, reading, writing, listening comprehension, and vocabulary applied to real-life situations. I also include aspects of Brazilian culture to make learning more natural and meaningful. The classes are dynamic and interactive, with updated materials, practical exercises, videos, texts, and personalized activities. Throughout the course, I monitor the student's progress and adapt the content whenever necessary to ensure efficient learning. My goal is to create a welcoming, motivating, and organized environment where each student feels confident to develop their skills and achieve their personal, academic, or professional goals.
