About Alfredo Augusto

I'm an attorney/barrister graduated at the University of São Paulo, Brazil, a sociologist and a doctor in training at the University of Coruña, Spain. I love Karaoke, to travel and to learn. I'm a good listener and very patient.

My promise is simple: stop “translating” to navigate brazilian culture with the confidence of knowing the game.

I will help you stand out, either if your goal is to do business, develop an academic carrer or just have fun and meet new interesting people in Brazil.

About the lesson

I have more than 10 years of experience. My methodology is articulated around functional communication applied to the real world and is supported by three pillars:

- Patience and personalization: I have trained hundreds of students, from executives to children. My approach is patient and adaptable to your objective, from planning a trip to an academic conference or a move to Brazil.

- Methodology “function over form”: my principle is that “every form has a function”. First, I teach you to communicate; Afterwards, we perfect grammar. You are going to feel it the first day.

- Efficient multilingualism: fluency in English and Spanish and deep interest in other languages functions as a strategic bridge. We solve complex problems from your own language to optimize time and eliminate frustrations.

I teach one-on-one or in small groups. If you have friends or colleagues who want to learn Portuguese with you and are at a similar level, you can study together at a reduced price.
