About Andra
all students deserve each day to be a new one with opportunities to succeed. I have taught students with a variety of abilities and skills. I have taught general and honors biology classes, work with struggling students in summer school, have tutored and run after school programs for students who have had behavioral issues and cannot be in the community. In addition to teaching in pubic high schools I have worked with students in residential setting

I establish rapport with each student and assess thier strenghts. I strive to build confidence in my students. I have lots of energy and make learning fun through hands on activities. I use diverse ways of explaining complex material and topics including the use visuals, models, short videos and diagrams. I connect content to real life scenarios and prepare them for standardized testing.
