About Sachith
My vision during my 12th graduation was a generic one- I wanted to pursue a profession in medicine. Becoming a doctor sounded cool at the time, and everyone was doing it. I couldn't crack it though, and ended up in a BSc course in Microbiology. I could not have imagined what an incredible path this was for me- exploring microbes that are invisible influencers of our very existence was something I learned was both so essential and exciting. This curiosity pushed me to study further and integrate other sciences with a Master's in Biochemistry. I'm currently starting my journey as a PhD scholar. Biology is a network of many many parts-be it zoology, molecular biology or ecology- and they do tie up together in the big picture. I hope I can help instigate some curiosity in you!! Biologists work to study life...within us, around us, and their relationships. In the classroom, we will work together to understand the vast networks that tie the various molecular and cellular mechanisms in all organisms together. The lectures will include basic theory of concept and will focus on analytical approaches to biological problems. The classes and will be advantageous for 11th-12th, and Graduate level students. The teaching schedule of 2 hours (Mon-Fri) will include- A 15-minute assessment of concepts previously covered, followed by the learning session primarily taught through detailed slideshows. The everyday assessments will be in a variety of formats from subjective to MCQ-type, and will thoroughly prepare the student for their college exam as well as other qualifying exams. Additional sessions dedicated to training for competitive exams may be undertaken upon request.
