About Shivam
Throughout my entire educational path, I disliked math, but Ms. Patel was the first person to make it enjoyable. She created fun games and activities so that learning complicated subjects seemed entertaining rather than frustrating. From the moment I begin that class, I knew that I wanted to help students find their love for learning, as Ms. Patel did for me. I even went into math teaching to help students learn a subject where I once struggled.

My teaching mathematics is to be passionate every time that I give a lecture so students are excited to learn more about the topic and become active learners. I don’t try to be the favorite teacher. Instead, I want to help the students to become self-sufficient. I am most proud when I can make a positive difference in someone’s academic career and see the amazing accomplishments of those whom I have mentored. I truly believe that the future is in the hands of the student . I truly believe learning is a lifelong process and my role as an educator is to instill lifelong learning in all my students
