About Alex
I have been tutoring for a few years now throughout my A-levels to students in maths and English. I have taught about 6 students in total which have all gone on to get the grades they aimed. I have 9A* at GCSE and 3As at A-level in maths biology and chemistry and also a B in AS further maths, so I know effective revision and exam techniques. In addition, I have a place and Brighton and Sussex medical school for this September.

First I like to make sure the student knows the best way they learn, like how they take notes, the best way to learn different types of material and what type of learner they are. Then I would like to plan what material we would cover each week so that I could bring along notes and materials for them to keep and use for revision. My teaching style is very visual, with lots of diagrams and pictures that the student can take with them to revise from. Additionally, I would provide a weekly set of questions on the material we covered for the student to go through at their own pace.
