• When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

  Mathematics is my love since I was a kid :) Since I was 8 years old, It was easy for me to understand complex concepts and solve hard problems compared to my age. My father has contributed to that passion by explaining to me some concepts in grade 11 when I was in grade 6 !! My math teacher in high school called me KING OF MATHEMATICS since I solve any math exam very quickly and mostly got 100%. My interest in Mathematics motivated me to enroll in an Engineering program (Communication and Information Engineering) for my bachelor's degree. During my bachelor, I had many applied mathematical courses such as Linear Algebra, Ordinary Differential Equations, and Partial Differential Equations. Then, I enrolled in a Ph.D. program in Mathematics and Industrial Engineering at Polytechnique Montreal, Canada. Seeing Mathematics as a magic tool to explain various aspects of physical phenomena is really interesting and motivates me to learn more mathematical concepts until now.

• What makes you passionate about your subject?

  Since I was a kid, I feel extreme joy when I understand a new mathematical concept or solve a hard problem. Solving mathematical problems was and still is fun for me. I do not have a problem staying a whole day trying to solve a mathematical problem. I really can not explain that but I think this is called passion. I find mathematics as a wonderful subject that is fun to learn or teach.

• What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

  I felt my passion for teaching since I was in high school. I enjoyed helping my friends explain some concepts in mathematics and solve some difficult problems. The good thing is that my friends liked my way of explanation and enthusiasm to transfer my knowledge to others. This passion motivates me to work as a Junior teaching assistant during my bachelor's to help my colleagues in various applied mathematics courses. I also worked as a freelance math tutor for the last two years before getting my bachelor both online and offline. I can say that my feeling of happiness is maximal when I feel that my student could understand something through my explanation. I can improvise many ways of teaching the same concept to transfer my knowledge to others. A deep understanding of mathematical concepts facilitates its teaching at different levels ranging from high school to the graduate level.

• Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.

  Yes, My math teacher at the high school is my role model in teaching. He does not only teach his students in a proper and funny manner but also deals with the students like young bros and sisters. This friendly way of dealing with students facilitates this knowledge transfer process, unlike other teachers who deal with students as knowledge recipients only (robots)!!
  
  Besides, preparing for every session is a sacred thing that I learned from him. Until now, I respect any instructor who prepares for every session, unlike others who do not care for that as if they are experts and they do not need to do that. An instructor's preparation for a high school subject is really important even if he is a Nobel laureate in Mathematics!!

• What are your keys to success?

  Passion and perseverance are my main keys to success in all life aspects, not just teaching.
