About Sheng Yu
I am a currently pursuing a Masters in Engineering at Imperial College London, after having graduated with a Bachelors in Biochemistry from Imperial College. I have had experience teaching Chemistry at A-Level and Science for KS3 students during my undergraduate studies. I also volunteered to teach refugees of ages 7-14 English! I have also worked as an Assurance Associate at a Big 4 company.

I like to understand my students and what their needs are before starting my lessons with them. I usually start by understanding their curriculum; what they are learning in school. I start most of my lessons with a short quiz to gauge the level at which my students are at so that I can tailor fit my subsequent lessons to their needs in order to achieve the best results. Students can also contact me ahead of class with any questions they would like to specifically go over during the lesson.
