About Maryam
I have a masters in research in biomedical science. I am currently working as a senior laboratory technician in an academy. Day to day activities at work include preparing and conducting practicals specifically for KS3 and KS4 students in biology, chemistry and physics. As well as this, science club activities are held to ensure I can aid the understanding of theory taught in class through specific practicals and worksheets related to each topic.

I base my lessons on the strengths and needs of each child.
Through meetings with the guardian, as well as discussing the board of examination, I first gain an understanding as to what level the student is working at school and, whether he/she has specific special educational needs.
And, by utilising the concerns and issues the student has in specific topics, I shall plan my lessons to compliment and challenge the students understanding.
