My teaching method is purely based on students' knowledge. I start by knowing what the student knows about the subject or topic and gradually cover the topic. For me, students' participation is very important in the whole process.
I am a Postgraduate in Commerce from BHU and have qualified NET thrice. I had a 6 months stint with Lok Sabha Secretariat as a research intern. I give tuitions to students upto highschool at my place.
I have known Princy for last 5 years and seen her excel in her academics. She has good command over subjects like economis, accountancy and financial management. She explains complex topics in a very simple way and makes sure that the other person do understand. She also tries to maintain light environment during her teaching. I would recommend Princy to students as she is very dedicated towards students to help them achieve their career or academic goals.
There are good teachers and then there are great teachers. Princy hands down goes into the list of the great ones. Giving students time, attending to their needs, and resolving all issues. She is patient and works with you so that one doesn't feel left behind. :D
I begin my letter of recommendation with intent that Princy, in the least of all chances, get the chance to have a conversation with you. Because she's earnest and curious and she loves to learn, unlike the most of us, who shrink in fear at the prospect of learning because we all want to impart something, to teach something. But Princy likes to know things more. She silently pays attention to the meaning of everything. Be it a question about Indian Legislative or simply the repetition of questions in a certain exam. I remember being her student during our college days and only because she could so easily understand the concepts of our curriculum that she would explain them all to me, in a matter of an hour. So that I could, without a word of lie, appear in the exam with the one hour worth of material and pass with humble grades. I feel I can place confidence in this observation that she can make a 6 year old understand the concept of Trigonometry. Or more complex concepts in a creative way. The 6 year old is likely to remember it for times longer than required. Such is her dexterity. I feel teaching as a professional choice reveals a lot about the person who undertakes it. Moreover, it reveals their purpose of opening up to a mass of humans who may or may not necessarily intend to learn. And if I were a student, i would want to know more things through Princy. And also she's my best friend so the observation is slightly biased. But ah well, aren't we all but biased?
