About Zoe
I am a History masters student at the University of Warwick with a first-class undergraduate degree in History from the same university. I was awarded the prize for the best academic performance 3 years running and achieved a 94% on my dissertation. I achieved 10A*s in my GCSE's and AAB in my A levels. I have experience working as an au pair and English tutor for an 11-year-old girl in Northern Italy for 3 months during the summer in 2019. I am fluent in English and French.

I am offering lessons for 11+ entrance examinations to GCSE level (for Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, Maths, English, History, Biology, French) and A level (History and Biology). I am also available for proofreading and dissertation help at University level.
My teaching method varies depending on each student's needs but, after consultation with the parents, I like to follow a specific textbook or revision guide. I split the lessons into segments of teaching and then guided exercises. I use this technique to identify the areas that the student struggles in the most and then focus the rest of the lesson on these aspects. I also like to have about 5-10 minutes of review/revision at the start of each lesson to recap what was covered in the previous lesson. I help students create revision material such as flashcards and mindmaps to aid with their independent study.
