About Festus

I am a passionate First Class mathematics tutor with a strong background in teaching and research. With an MSc in Mathematics from the University of Glasgow and experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, I specialise in helping students develop deep conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills.

About the lesson

I adopt a student-centred approach to tutoring, ensuring that lessons are tailored to individual learning styles. My methodology includes: Conceptual Understanding Interactive Learning Step-by-Step Problem Solving Active Participation Assessment & Feedback Standard lessons last 1 hour, but I can extend sessions to 1.5 to 2 hours for more in-depth topics or exam preparation. Qualifications & Experience MSc in Mathematics – University of Glasgow. Graduate Teaching Assistant & Demonstrator – University of Glasgow. High School Mathematics Teacher, Private Tutor – Experience tutoring high school and undergraduate students in mathematics and further mathematics. Who the Lessons Are For: High school students (GCSE, A-Level, IB, etc.). Undergraduate students (mathematics-related courses). Mature students preparing for exams or career-related mathematical skills
