About Rocco
I’m a student here at Oxford with a passion for everything mathy! I absolutely love helping other people develop their passions and abilities in mathematics; I firmly believe that a proper grounding in the subject is the key to success in so many fields of work, even for those who don’t plan to pursue a full-on maths degree at uni.
I developed my love of maths from a young age, going on to secure top scores in college-level assessments from the age of 14 onward; as a homeschooler, I applied solely on the strength of my examination qualifications and to Oxford and received an offer which I accepted last year. Studying PPE here at Oxford has allowed me to continue adding to my mathematical toolbox.

I prioritize learning how to think quickly and grasp concepts deeply rather than rote memorization. Depending on what practical goals the student is aiming for, I might recommend quick-paced review of subject material paired with an intense rapid-fire work-through of problems of an appropriate difficulty.
