About Sera
I am an enthusiastic ESL tutor with 6 years of experience teaching High School and College students. I have guided 150–200 students, helping them strengthen their English skills and gain confidence in communication.
I believe learning English should be both practical and enjoyable. I focus on grammar, vocabulary, speaking, reading, and writing, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable practising and making mistakes.
One significant milestone in my career has been seeing students transform from hesitant learners to confident English speakers. Many have improved their grades, presentations, and participation in discussions.
I adapt lessons to match each student’s pace and learning style. My mission is to help students enjoy learning English and achieve academic and personal success.

My ESL teaching methodology is adaptive, structured, and student-focused. I use real-life examples and case studies to connect classroom lessons to practical communication, including workplace situations, academic discussions, travel, and social interactions.
Students practise all four language skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—through interactive exercises and structured tasks. Motivation is essential in my approach, and I provide consistent guidance, positive reinforcement, and progress tracking. When challenges arise, I use problem-solving techniques to break down complex grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation issues.
Integrity is central to my teaching, and I provide honest and constructive feedback. Flexibility allows me to adjust lessons for different proficiency levels and learning preferences. Along with ESL, I teach spoken English, academic writing, business communication, and vocabulary development.
