About Elle
I am a first class honors mathematics student at Trinity College with experience researching at the Experimental Math Lab at Trinity. Math was not taught very intuitively in secondary school; this is the main reason I want to tutor. Knowing what I know now, and what I learned sitting the LC, I believe scoring well in Math LC is far easier than secondary schools make it out to be.
My teaching prioritizes practical tips based on the LC exam structure and marking scheme, trends from past papers, a techniques-based approach (which is something that LC math values over pure understanding), and efficient study methods.
For students who wish to major in math in universities, I can also provide a rigorous mathematical understanding of the concepts taught in LC which are bound to come up again at university level. I can also prep for the required math modules universities will make you take (that famously go against what secondary school teaches about math), should you be interested in pursuing math/theoretical physics in university.
