About Faith

24 year experienced Japanese high school teacher and have taught upward of 3,600 students. Have been teaching high school Japanese 1st - 5th year in Hawaii. Hold a teaching license in Hawaii / waiting for Washington state teacher certification. Have taken students to Japan for language and culture exchanges. Students have enjoyed the active and varied lessons.

About the lesson

Willing to give lessons via Skype to individuals of small groups. Teaching methods is focused on students actively using the language during each session. Students should be able to immediately use what they've learned after each session. Built in reviews and pacing of new content is decided upon by the students. All lessons come with plenty of visuals. Students may learn by conversation skits, story telling, acting, music, etc.

Faith takes teaching seriously and makes it fun at the same time. Her students want to learn, and they want to learn from her. I witnessed this for 2 1/2 years seeing her implement technology, kinesthetic learning activities, and oral practice with her students of Japanese.
