About Shikhar

Having spent 3 years in Litigation in the competitive environment of New Delhi after completing my legal education, and having successfully completed masters from a place known for its academic rigor (NLSIU Bengaluru), I wish to share something which is the essence of Legal studies and is still missing in Law School education. Fundamental legal principles were formulated out of observations around prevailing human tendencies and habits to fulfill the state's role of providing dispute resolution and stability to society. In such a scenario, the Court is bound by those principles, whereas the law is subject to new realities of human disputes (adjudicated and recorded in the same Courtrooms). Coherent study of Theory and recent cases (and courtroom practices) is what I wish to offer here.

About the lesson

"practical orientation to fundamental legal theory"- I was initially told that it was either academics or litigation as a career. However, I have found that these fields, and skills employed therein work best when employed together. The course would target preparation guides for legal entrance examinations along with providing real life cases to inspire further curiosity for application within students.
