About Kaan
I am a qualified teacher practising in a secondary school in South West London. My specialism is Religion, although I teach Philosophy A-Level and have experience teaching other humanities subjects such as Geography and History.
I graduated from UCLan my bachelors degree in Sociology of Religion, and then trained at UCL to complete my teacher training and PGCE in Religious Studies.
My current school is ages 11-18, although I am happy to consider students of lower ages too. I have GCSE and A level classes currently and I have particularly strong knowledge of the Edexcel curriculum.
I am currently teaching remotely during working hours, but would love to take on some extra students in after-school hours, whether this is to help current GCSE or A-level students catch up on work they are falling behind on, or just to teach a broader curriculum to keep engaging young minds!
I am currently in my first year of full teaching practise as a qualified teacher and would love to expand on my experience!
