Methodology
For maths, I use visual techniques. We move from concrete examples to abstract formulas. For example, 5th grader struggling with fractions, we talk about pizza slices. For Languages (French/English), I prioritize contextual immersion and focus on fluency. I teach students how to use the language to express their own needs and identities, rather than just memorizing verb conjugations.
Lesson Plan (60 min)
5 Min: Warm-up (e.g., a math riddle or a French "Word of the Day").
15 Min: I explain the core concept using metaphors and visual aids.
20 Min: We solve problems together. I provide immediate feedback and catch misconceptions early.
15 Min: The student applies the knowledge to a new scenario while I observe.
5 Min: The student explains what they learned back to me
