In my experience in learning, I realize that everyone retains knowledge differently. First, I like to assess the knowledge that the student already possesses. Once I obtain that information, I further the students' advancements in learning the subject that they need. I also build on what they know; I do not move on completely from what they know, to make sure that the students don't forget, and it can also maintain their confidence. I can teach anyone from elementary school, middle school, to high school students who are applying to colleges/universities.
