I see this daily, as my tutoring covers organic chemistry mechanisms and molecular biology for those aiming for MCAT success. Having spent 4 years teaching chemistry majors, I understand exactly which topics the AAMC tests hardest. My approach focuses on building fluency in carboxylic acids, synthesis pathways, NMR spectroscopy, and mechanism drawing.
