About Amaya
I am the type of student that likes to be pushed. My teaching style is similar in the sense that I want for my students to be as confident as possible in the material they want to learn. My motto is hard work pays off.

My approach to teaching is one of patience and passion. My lesson plan includes reviewing knowledge of topic, practice problems, then having students try on their own, and finally reviewing and having students explain how and why they solved the problem.
What sets me apart from other tutors is that I myself have struggled with math and needed tutors, so I know ways that help students to understand and learn effectively.
My lessons are more geared towards students in high school level or lower.
