My teaching approach for flute focuses on clarity, adaptability, and practical learning. I create a supportive environment where students feel motivated and confident to explore music.
I communicate flute concepts such as breathing techniques, embouchure control, finger accuracy, tone clarity, articulation, and rhythm in simple terms. I adapt lessons using demonstrations, listening exercises, and hands-on practice to match each student’s learning style.
I include real-life musical examples and case studies from concerts, recordings, and well-known compositions. This helps students understand how flute techniques are used in actual performances.
Along with flute instruction, I teach music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, scale practice, sight reading, and basic performance skills. I also guide students on practice planning and musical expression.
