About Eugenia
Have you ever wondered how the physical mechanics of violin playing truly influence the beauty of a performance? Over the course of 13 years, I have refined my teaching to reflect the rigor of the pedagogy lineage I inherited, from the traditions of Delay and Perlman. My academic foundation is an MMus in Violin Performance from The Juilliard School.
I have mentored countless students through their musical development. Beyond my degree, my 13 years performing in youth symphonies and chamber ensembles inform my instruction. It is a pleasure to share this heritage with those dedicated to the craft of the violin. Warmly, your guide in these technical pursuits.

Pacing remains the primary challenge in mastering complex bowing and agility. Truthfully, the most delicate work often happens at a very slow tempo.
I construct custom scale and etude sheets for each student to ensure we address specific needs like spiccato, staccato, and tone production. Posture and left hand agility receive constant scrutiny during our 10 minutes of initial warm up.
We utilize these 13 years of professional insights to keep the physical instrument aligned with musical intent. I ensure that progress is methodical and grounded in the principles of my predecessors. Let us begin this structured exploration of your potential together.
