About Christine
I would love to provide students with quality revision sessions which are personalised and will help them develop the skills of independence and consistency. I hope to provide students with a passion and interest for learning so that they can develop their intellect and further their progression into STEM subjects which are constantly evolving to improve society. Within London Oratory I have participated in multiple subject specialist roles which have allowed me to assist teachers in providing interactive sessions in maths and chemistry which have developed students' learning and studying techniques and enhanced communication and active listening skills. I have assisted several classes such as 1H maths, J4 maths, 4th form set 2 chemistry and 4th form set 6 chemistry which have taught me the patience and leadership skills needed to help students in varying sets and abilities. My experience in communicating with different year groups allows me to adjust my teaching to suit every year group accordingly

I focus on a student's particular weaknesses to help me create engaging, personalised and thorough lessons in order to approach the topics in a holistic manner. I have assisted students with GCSE Chemistry and Mathematics within my school and ensured that I have been clear and detailed with my explanations, revising topics that the student may have forgotten and using techniques to make the student retain and recall the information easily. The lesson time can be customised between 1 to 2 hours at any time between 9am to 9pm from Monday to Sunday. My lessons are for GCSE and A-Level students taking Mathematics and/or Chemistry of which I have been predicted an A* at A-Level (I am waiting for the actual results) and I have achieved 9's for both at GCSE displaying my passion and hard-working nature. I have also participated in the UK Chemistry Olympiad of which I achieved a Gold Award and won an Oxford essay competition leading me to spend a week at Oxford University participating in the OxNet Science Programme. I won a round of the MACE Debating competition as well as volunteered at a local charity shop to improve my communication and teamwork skills
