About Lisa

I am a passionate flute tutor with 4 years of teaching experience, helping students of different ages achieve their musical goals. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals in a supportive and motivating learning environment where every student feels valued.

My teaching philosophy emphasizes communication, encouragement, creativity, and flexibility. I believe students learn best when lessons are interactive, practical, and enjoyable. I create personalized lesson plans that match each student's learning style and musical interests.

Besides flute, I teach music theory, ear training, rhythm development, breathing techniques, beginner keyboard, sight reading, music appreciation, and stage performance. These additional subjects strengthen musical understanding and improve overall performance.

I help students develop proper posture, breathing techniques, finger movement, rhythm accuracy, tone quality, and expressive performance. Regular practice guidance and positive feedback help students improve steadily while building confidence. My goal is to help every learner become a skilled and passionate musician.

About the lesson

I believe that every student deserves patient guidance and a positive environment to learn the flute successfully. My teaching methodology follows Communication, Accountability, and Integrity, helping students stay motivated while building strong musical foundations.

Lessons begin with posture correction, breathing exercises, embouchure, finger positioning, and tone production. Once students master these basics, they continue with rhythm practice, scales, notation reading, articulation, dynamics, phrasing, and performance techniques. I provide practical exercises that make learning enjoyable and effective.

Communication helps me explain every concept in simple language while encouraging students to ask questions without hesitation. Accountability teaches students the importance of regular practice, commitment, and self-improvement. Integrity guides my teaching through honesty, patience, fairness, and encouragement.

Besides flute, I also teach Music Theory, Sight Reading, Ear Training, Staff Notation, Rhythm Training, Breath Management, Instrument Care, Music Appreciation, Performance Preparation, and Practice Planning. These complementary subjects help students become confident and knowledgeable musicians.

My aim is to help students enjoy every lesson, perform with confidence, and develop a lifelong appreciation for music.
