About Allice
I am an enthusiastic piano tutor with 12 years of experience teaching students from school, college, and professional backgrounds. I strongly believe that learning piano should be enjoyable, structured, and meaningful. My teaching methodology emphasises patience, clear communication, and personalised instruction tailored to each student’s goals and learning style.
I focus on developing strong fundamentals such as finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm, and sight-reading while gradually introducing advanced techniques. I also teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to help students gain a complete understanding of music.
Lessons are creative, interactive, and engaging, often including song practice, improvisation, and performance opportunities. I help students develop confidence, consistency, and disciplined practice habits while fostering a lifelong love for music.

I follow an adaptive and motivational teaching methodology that prioritises each student’s personal growth and enjoyment. Through effective communication, I identify each student’s strengths, challenges, and goals, creating lessons that are tailored, motivating, and engaging.
Creativity is emphasised in every lesson. Students are encouraged to improvise, compose, and explore various musical styles, which helps develop originality and musical expression. Flexibility is key to my approach—I adjust lessons to the student’s pace, preferences, and learning style, ensuring that progress feels natural and enjoyable.
Alongside piano, I incorporate lessons in music theory, sight-reading, rhythm practice, and ear training. This integrated approach strengthens technical skills, musical understanding, and expressive ability. My aim is to cultivate students into confident, well-rounded, and passionate musicians who enjoy learning and performing music throughout their lives.
