About Henry
I am a committed Saxophone tutor with 17+ years of teaching experience and have worked with around 150 students at different stages of learning. I teach all levels and focus on steady improvement through personalized instruction.
My teaching style combines structure, flexibility, and encouragement. I create customized lesson plans based on each student’s learning style and musical goals. I aim to make lessons engaging while ensuring clear progress.
Lessons focus on essential saxophone fundamentals such as breath support, embouchure, tone production, finger technique, and rhythm accuracy. As students improve, I introduce musical expression, phrasing, and improvisation techniques.
Alongside saxophone lessons, I teach music theory, sight-reading, and basic ear training. My goal is to help students enjoy learning the saxophone while building strong, lasting musical skills.

My teaching approach for Saxophone focuses on technical accuracy, musical understanding, and confident performance through Communication, Accountability, and Integrity. I personalize lessons according to each student’s learning pace and goals. I teach breath control, tone consistency, articulation clarity, and rhythm accuracy in a systematic, easy-to-follow manner.
Open communication creates a supportive environment and motivates students. Accountability is encouraged through structured practice schedules, regular assessments, and clear progress tracking. I provide honest and constructive feedback to guide continuous growth. Integrity ensures professional and dedicated instruction.
Along with Saxophone, I also teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Harmony basics, and Improvisation techniques to help students become versatile musicians.
