About Lena
With more than 20+ years of teaching experience and over 5620 students successfully trained, I have helped violin learners achieve significant growth in both technique and musical understanding. My teaching experience includes beginners, intermediate performers, advanced students, competition candidates, and aspiring professional musicians.
Many former students have participated in orchestras, chamber groups, recitals, competitions, and advanced music programs while developing confidence in their performance abilities. Several have pursued higher music education and established successful careers in performance and music instruction. Their accomplishments demonstrate the power of structured learning and dedicated mentorship.
I believe the violin is one of the most expressive instruments and offers endless opportunities for artistic development. My mission is to help learners build confidence, technical mastery, and a lifelong appreciation for musical excellence.

Violin lessons focus on building technical precision while nurturing artistic expression and musical confidence. Training includes posture alignment, bowing techniques, intonation development, rhythm accuracy, scales, sight reading, ear training, music theory, repertoire studies, ensemble performance, and stage preparation. Lessons are tailored to each learner’s abilities, allowing them to progress steadily while developing strong foundational skills.
Students participate in performance workshops, technical development exercises, interpretation sessions, listening activities, sight-reading practice, ensemble preparation, and guided practice routines. Lessons encourage learners to understand the emotional and artistic aspects of music while strengthening the technical skills required for successful performance.
Advanced learners explore advanced bow control, expressive phrasing, solo repertoire, audition preparation, orchestral techniques, chamber music participation, performance psychology, artistic communication, and professional performance development. This methodology helps learners achieve both technical excellence and artistic maturity.
