About Ana Cecilia

Hey! My name is Ana and I'm currently looking for a change of scenery for my work life.

I'm currently a team leader at a restaurant and have recently felt that my language skills have been gathering dust for the past few months.

To counteract, I decided to look into language tutoring as I feel it's the best way in which I can reconnect with my love for languages! I'm still learning a couple of others (German and Hungarian) to the point I feel confident in the methodologies of teaching Spanish and English (my two mother tongues).

Teaching is a great tool: it helps you learn something new and it helps the teacher to cement their knowledge and further their understanding. My goal is to make this process work!

About the lesson

I cater all my classes to each particular student as we all have different capabilities and aspirations.

I am well versed in the HR world and can help prep your CV (be it in english or spanish) according to your particular profile and the sort of jobs you'd be looking for.

In terms of Spanish lessons, I can go a step further and help you dive into the world of business terms outside of the basic stuff you learn in your average spanish class (such as the weather, but we can also talk about that to warm up).

I'm a strong believer in all round teaching so we would be focusing on the speaking and writing parts as I feel they can be the most complicated but also touching on the reading and listening.

I recommend lessons to last a minimum of 1h30m for the best results.

This is my first time tutoring professionally but I've always had a knack for teaching others and this is a subject I'm VERY knowledgeable about (I studied the subjects I mentioned in english in A levels and GCSEs as well as in my degree in spanish). I am currently a teamleader in my day job so teaching and training comes with my daily tasks.

My lessons are for everybody! It's never too late to learn a language!
