About Juno
I am an 18 year old preschool assistant teacher and I love teaching kids of all ages. I am a high school graduate, and I am on the way into college for an associates degree in early childhood education and a bachelor's degree in elementary education. I have my first aid and CPR certificate, as well as my Certificate of Completion STARS 30-Hour Childcare Basics Training and CTE Industry Certificate.

When students learn to read the best way to help is to get the basics down first.
If I am teaching your student to read we will work on sounds/phonics, such as beginning sounds, consonants. vowels, phonemes and rhyming.
If your student knows how to read, we will work on fluency and vocabulary.
I work with 4-8 year olds. Our lessons together will be based more on what they already know, over what they "should" know at that age.
For example, let's say your student is 5 years old and they have the alphabet memorized. The first lesson we will work on making sure we know the alphabet and letter sounds out of order. Looking at beginning sounds, they can match a picture of a pig to the letter P or a drawing of a dog to the letter D, etc.
