About Maria Isabel
My passion for teaching comes from my desire to inspire children to learn, grow, and believe in their abilities. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom where every child feels valued and encouraged to participate.
I believe that learning should be engaging, meaningful, and enjoyable. By building positive relationships with my students and understanding their individual needs, I help them develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. My goal is to motivate children to become active participants in their education and to feel excited about being part of my class every day.
With over 30 years of teaching experience, I have learned that every child can succeed when given the right support, encouragement, and opportunities to grow. I am committed to helping each student reach their full potential while fostering a positive and respectful learning environment.

Hello, my name is Maria Isabel Marentes Franco, and I am an experienced educator with more than 30 years of teaching experience. I specialize in early childhood education and hold a Diploma in Spanish as a Second Language.
My teaching approach is student-centered, interactive, and supportive. I believe that every learner has unique strengths and learning styles, so I adapt my lessons to meet individual needs. I use a variety of teaching techniques, including guided practice, conversation, storytelling, visual aids, games, and real-life examples to make learning engaging and meaningful.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous concepts, followed by the introduction of new material. I then provide guided activities and practical exercises that allow students to apply what they have learned. Throughout the lesson, I encourage participation, questions, and discussion. I conclude each session with feedback and recommendations for continued practice.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my extensive teaching experience, patience, dedication, and ability to create a positive learning environment where students feel confident and motivated. My background in both preschool education and Spanish language instruction allows me to support learners with different abilities and educational goals.
My lessons are suitable for children, beginners, and students who want to improve their Spanish language skills.
