About Maria-Grace
I am a uniquely qualified candidate with both academic and real-world experience. I have an A.S. in Health Science from Goodwin College. My graduating GPA was 3.71. My experience includes 1 year as a Peer Tutor and 4 years as a Professional Tutor. I have worked with students from elementary school through college level. Additionally, I have experience working in a pathology lab and in cancer research. Helping students succeed is my passion.

My teaching method is individualized. I work with the student to determine their learning style (visual, aural, verbal, physical/hands-on, or logical). I then help the student develop success study methods using their preferred learning style. Additionally, personality does come into play. I am approachable and understanding, but and be tough if the situation requires it. I am willing to explain and re-explain as many times as it takes.
