About Nikol

I was the Education Director of a leading tuition company before I began tutoring and teaching, which eventually led me to open Sparkling Minds Tuition with my business partner, Rosy. I have worked as a tutor for several years, specialising in KS1, KS2, 11+, 13+, and GCSE English and Maths. I have a proven track record of helping students achieve outstanding results, including supporting those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Notably, I have helped students working at a GCSE Grade 1 level pass their exams within just three months.

As the co-founder of Sparkling Minds Tuition, I bring a unique blend of creative and academic expertise to my teaching. I hold a First-Class degree from St. Mary’s University, and my background in the arts allows me to incorporate dynamic, creative approaches into my lessons, making learning engaging and accessible for all students. This is reflected in the personalised homeschooling plans I design, which often include LAMDA Acting exams and opportunities for students to explore their passions while maintaining the highest level of academic success.

I often create personalised worksheets tailored to each student’s individual weaknesses, ensuring their learning is focused and effective. Many of my students have successfully gained entrance into prestigious schools such as Nonsuch, Wallington Grammar, and Whitgift.

About the lesson

I was the Education Director at a leading tuition company which I helped grow to 100 children in under a year. I deliver high-quality, tailored tuition. My key objective is to give my students all the tools they need to grow in confidence and perform in the areas they once struggled in. I’ll use a technicolour of techniques I have been supplied with working with children over the years. I believe each individual needs to be encouraged and supported in a safe unpressured environment in order to excel. I want my students to have fun and not be afraid to make mistakes! I also specialise in the 11+ and target the exact templates of the schools you apply for.
