About Phoenix
Hi, I’m Phoenix! I’m a patient and supportive tutor who enjoys helping students feel more confident in subjects that may seem difficult at first. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I always try to adapt my teaching style to match each student’s pace and needs.
I have experience as a science teacher assistant, where I worked closely with students and helped support classroom learning. Through this experience, I developed strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills that I now bring into every lesson.
My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them truly understand the material and feel comfortable asking questions. I create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students can build confidence step by step.
I teach biology, chemistry, math, and general science for middle school and high school students, and I’m always happy to help students strengthen their study habits, prepare for tests, or review challenging concepts.

Hi, I’m Phoenix, a university student with experience as a science teacher assistant and a strong passion for helping students learn in a supportive and comfortable environment. I teach biology, chemistry, math, and general science for middle school and high school students.
My teaching approach focuses on understanding concepts instead of memorization. I break down difficult topics into smaller, easier steps and adapt my explanations depending on the student’s learning style. I also encourage students to ask questions freely so lessons feel interactive rather than stressful.
A typical lesson usually starts with reviewing what the student is currently learning in class or struggling with most. From there, we work through examples together, practice questions, and problem-solving strategies to build confidence and improve understanding. I also help students develop study habits and ways to approach tests more effectively.
What sets me apart is my patience, communication skills, and ability to explain concepts clearly without making students feel overwhelmed. My experience working in both classroom and healthcare environments has helped me become adaptable, organized, and supportive when working with different types of learners.
My lessons are best suited for middle school students, high school students, and beginner-level learners looking for extra support in science or math courses.
