About Morgan
I have been working with students from grades 2 through til 9 across the subject range for two years. I grew up in rural Queensland and moved to the West Coast for university. I initially began studying physiotherapy but found it a rather overload of science. With teaching, I am able to get the science but also the maths and english that I crave and love. It's great to see firsthand the work I put in truly have an impact on a student's learning.

I begin by looking at areas of need and working to filling these. However, I prefer to focus really what foundational areas of understanding are shakey and need work. A good house needs good foundations! My lessons tend to build on a single concept but revisit it through out the lessons in different contexts. In this way, the grasp of the concept is solidified. I try and test different approaches and different activities to make the lessons engaging for each individual student. There's no point being taught something if you're not interested.
